Black and White Brooklyn

This afternoon I finally visited the Brooklyn Museum.

They’re showing a fascinating photographic exhibit called “Who Shot Rock n Roll?” It’s filled with behind-the-scenes, performance, artistic photos of rock stars past and present.

This time I didn’t explore the rest of the museum. I’m planning to do that another time (preferably at a quieter time than a Saturday afternoon). Here are a couple pretty things I noticed on the way through.

Behind the museum in Prospect Park, the sun was shining through the bare trees.

The museum subway station features interesting artwork.

The tiles are often an artwork of their own.

The exhibit goes through the end of the month. If you’re in the area, go check it out live and in color!
